The Melbourne Writer's Festival kicks off this week, with Germaine Greer and Augusten Burroughs giving the keynote addresses on Friday night. Is anyone heading along? Personally I'm excited about Chloe Hooper (author of The Tall Man), Salman Rushdie on the big screen, poets like Tracie Morris and Adam Ford, and feminists like Greer, Emily Maguire and Monica Dux. How about you? Any festival appearances getting you keen?
