White noise bursts through silent refrain
Through the darkened coolness of void
Now, opened eyes reveal a deep blue sky
White noise has resolved to applause.

Just a moment before flashes forward
As a mountain of muscle approaches
Snorting dust in a cloud like a door
Opens then to the face of the bull.

Final spear in one hand flashes outward
To its twin on the neck of the beast.
One instant before the world darkened
The horn twists to tear into flesh.

In time applause falls to silence
A presentation is made.
For valour in reach of death's claw
A hoof, three ears and a crown.
